Welcome to the lampworked weight section of our website, page 2. These weights employ the fine torch work of Karen Federici. She must make each tiny blossom from glass rods over the flame of a gas burner. After making each setup, the work is encased in clear glass in the hot shop of the studio with her husband, Richard. The availability of work on this page is subject to change periodically. Although a particular theme may exist in any given weight, seldom is a particular design repeated as a series. All of the weights shown are approximately 3.5" in diameter, unless otherwise specified.
